We collect the information you provide to create and use your account: your email address (used for account verification and two-factor login codes), a display name, and the collection data you add (games, wanted items, notes, and any images you upload). We also record basic technical information such as login times needed to operate and secure the Service.

We use your information to provide the Service (store and display your collection, calculate estimated values), to authenticate you, to send account-related messages such as verification and password-reset codes, and to protect the Service against abuse.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the Service (for example, database hosting, email delivery, and — on desktop only — the advertising partner described in §7 below), and only as needed to provide it. Public collection sharing is off by default; a collection is only visible publicly if you explicitly enable sharing.

If you're a California resident, our use of advertising cookies as described in §7 may be considered a "share" of information under the CCPA/CPRA. You can opt out of this at any time using the "Cookie Preferences" link in the site footer, without affecting your ability to use the Service.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove or de-identify your personal data, subject to any limited retention required for legal, security, or backup purposes.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections, hashed passwords, two-factor authentication, and server-side access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

7. Cookies & Sessions

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and operate the Service; these do not require consent and can't be disabled without breaking sign-in. With your permission, we also use analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand how the Service is used, and advertising cookies for the side-rail ads shown to free users on desktop (Google AdSense) — both are off by default until you accept them, and you can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie Preferences" link in the site footer.

Advertising on this site is limited to space beside the application on wide desktop screens — it never appears inside your collection, on mobile, or for Collector Pro subscribers. If you accept advertising cookies, ads may be personalized based on your activity across sites you visit; if you decline, you may still see non-personalized ads, which are not based on your browsing history. Declining advertising (or analytics) cookies never affects your ability to use the core Service.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We may update this Policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest version.
