Delete Your Retro Collection Index Account
Applies to both the retrocollectionindex.com website and the Retro Collection Index Android/iOS app — they share one account.
How to request deletion
- Sign in, then open Profile & Settings — on the website from the menu at the top right; in the app by tapping the settings (gear) icon at the top right of the Home tab.
- Scroll to Danger Zone at the bottom and select Delete my account.
- Pick a reason, then confirm by re-entering your password.
No web form or email is required — the in-app action above is the official deletion request.
What happens next
Your account is disabled immediately and you're signed out of every device. For 30 days, the request can be reversed by contacting support@retrocollectionindex.com — nothing is removed yet during this window. After 30 days, an automated job permanently and irreversibly deletes the account.
Collector Pro: a subscription bought on retrocollectionindex.com is canceled when you delete, so it won't renew. A subscription bought through Google Play or the App Store is billed by that store, and we can't cancel it for you — deleting your account does not stop it. Cancel it yourself in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions) or on your iPhone or iPad (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Your account is still deleted either way.
What's deleted
Everything tied to your account: your profile (name, email, username, password, avatar), your entire collection (games, notes, purchase prices, storage locations, tags), uploaded photos, wanted list, valuation history, and account activity/login history.
What's retained
If you ever had a Collector Pro subscription, billing records are retained by whoever processed the payment — Stripe for the website, or Google or Apple for a store purchase — independent of your account deletion, for the period they and applicable law require for tax and financial recordkeeping. We don't control or extend that retention. We keep no other data after the 30-day window closes.
Can't sign in, or want a copy of your data instead?
If you're locked out of your account, or want to request a copy of your data (or deletion of specific data) without deleting the whole account, use our Contact form and pick "Can't access my account" or "Request a copy of my data" — no sign-in required.
